Today: Chippewa Valley Renaissance Faire

With the balmy cool weather this weekend, time to enjoy some outdoor activities here, including: 

Eau Claire Triatholon: For those who want to work out over your day of rest, competitors at this Triatholon have the opportunity to compete individually or with a team. The race will include a swin in Halfmoon Lake, the bikeride through the western Wisconsin countryside, and the run through historic Carson Park. There is a fee for entry, check here for more info. 

Gardening and Plant Exchange: This friendly exchange will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation. Gardener Extraodinaire Greg Mauer will lead a discussion of what gardening means to each of us and will share his knowlege of gardening and lots of his excess plants. 

4x4 Tractor Pull: At Chapman Park, this 4x4 Tractor Pull will start with weigh-in at 5 p.m. and the pull commencing at 6 p.m. Call 715-456-4518 for more information.
