Saturday Event Picks (June 11)
Since the weather finally cooled down on us, some outdoor fun is in order.
ARTS: There will be the fifth annual Open Air Festival of the Arts, where artists will be featuring and selling their original works. Food artisans will sell fresh chow, and live music performances throughout the day will make this atmosphere complete. Admission is free.
CHARITY: Join the Walk for Hope campaign that strives to help victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault. The walk will commence at 10 a.m. and begin on the Stokke Trail. This relaxing 2-3 mile walk will be slow paced and allow for children and dogs. Pledge forms are currently available.
KIDS: The Green Oasis Garden Center in Lake Hallie will be hosting a Father's Day Gift Making event. Come any time between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to make a super secret gift for your Dad! Parents only pay for the materials you choose to use.
