Philosophers' Café: Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes: A Message to the Future
The Philosophers' Café is a public forum in which community members discuss interesting contemporary issues in a relaxed and informal setting. Keiko Morikawa (Japan Outreach Initiative Coordinator, UW-Stout Polytechnic) will lead this discussion on Sadako Sasaki, a young girl who was exposed to the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and became a symbol of peace & hope.
