With summertime activities now in full swing, Visit Eau Claire has joined the fun by unveiling its 2026-2027 Sculpture Tour, featuring 40-plus new installations.

Over the past few weeks, volunteers with Sculpture Tour, staff and sponsors have installed (and will continue to install through June) new visual art pieces made by creatives across the country.

As with previous years, the tour spotlights more than 120 sculptures – continuing to hold its place as the largest outdoor rotating sculpture tour in the country.

"Bringing this tour to life each year is a massive logistical puzzle and it only happens because our community completely rallies behind it," Julie Pangallo, Visit Eau Claire's public arts manager, said of this year's tour.

While centered in downtown Eau Claire, the tour continues to expand its footprint further across the Chippewa Valley in Altoona, Menomonie and other Midwest cities.

Volume One mapped out the newest public art installations now gracing the streets of downtown Eau Claire (as mentioned, the tour sprawls further than Eau Claire, which Visit Eau Claire notes on their website). Each new sculpture – numbered on the map below – has joined the downtown streets to create an "open-air gallery" for locals in and visitors to the Chippewa Valley to enjoy.

In person, placards adorn the base of each sculpture, where locals can learn more about the names' of artists who help bring the tour to life.
