It’s official: The anticipated farmers market season is officially in the works, bringing with it the familiar sight of abundant fresh flowers and the welcoming smiles of local vendors.

In downtown Eau Claire, the folks over at Tangled Up In Hue (505 S. Barstow St. #B, Eau Claire) are preparing for their 15th consecutive year of the Artist Market of Eau Claire. (The market runs May through Oct. annually.)

The recurring summertime event dedicates itself to both celebrating and promoting local creatives within the community, its resource webpage reads. Year after year, Tangled Up In Hue coordinators provide local artists with resources and physical vendor “slots” along the Phoenix Park labyrinth (330 Riverfront Terrace) area to display their original, handmade creations.

One-of-a-kind jewelry, ceramic goods, prints and posters, clothing and 3D printed toys are just a few of the notable artist market items one might expect to find (or purchase) at the recurring Saturday event in Eau Claire.

This summer will be no different; applications for the 2026 market – scheduled for May 23 through Oct. 10 – opened earlier this month and will remain available for artists to submit online at tangledupinhue.com/artist-market.

If an artist has been accepted to the market in the past, they do not need to reapply, Tangled Up In Hue shared online. Instead, simply sign in to your existing vendor account to select the dates you wish to showcase your work.

Just one question remains: Will you be one of the dozens of talented vendors to partake this year?
