Do you remember the last time you saw something – or at least you thought you saw something – that you just couldn’t explain? Well, there’s an entire cultural subgenre ready to help you find answers to the unknown.

Midwest MetaParaCon is set for April 11-13 at the Chippewa Valley Expo Center (5150 Old Mill Plaza, Eau Claire). The three-day paranormal event focuses on paranormal investigations, ghosts, magic, and all things that go bump in the night.

“This event is all about the unknown,” Danny Loosemore, MetaParaCon CEO, said. “There is an innate curiosity and mystery behind the things that we can’t explain. It interests a lot of people, and they like to see if they can develop theories to try and understand things we can’t figure out through traditional means.”

The convention will include 100-plus vendors showcasing products from crystals and spiritual tools to investigation equipment. Also included during the three-day event are keynote addresses from topical celebrity speakers, interactive ghost hunts (locations including the Cook Rutledge Mansion and Heyde Center for the Arts), workshops, magic shows, and more.

If you’re looking to unleash your inner ghost buster, Midwest MetaParaCon is ready to help you dive deep into the world of the unknown.
