Relax & ReJuve: New Wellness Spa Works From the Inside Out
ReJuve Lounge brings holistic health and self-care under one roof

For locals Rachelle Kruit and Joni Falatic, the past couple of months have been a whirlwind – and not just because of the holiday season. The culprit: a particular kind of that chaos can only be found under an entrepreneur’s roof. Yet for these new small business owners, they’re specializing in quite the opposite: relaxation and rejuvenation.
ReJuve Lounge opened its doors just before the holidays in 2024 thanks to a right-time-right-place series of events. Rachelle and Joni, best friends of nearly a decade, had talked about working together one day but acknowledged those chats were mostly “what if” conversations and daydreams.
Rachelle, a massage therapist, had created a career in the wellness environment, and Joni has experienced a turn in her own health journey thanks to holistic methods. When the duo found a curated collection of holistic therapies equipment for sale, they decided to take those daydreams more seriously. A long car ride and conversation later followed by a summer of renovations and planning, and ReJuve Lounge had come to fruition.
“After you come here, you should leave feeling rejuvenated.”
RACHELLE KRUIT
CO-OWNER OF REJUVE LOUNGE
Walking into ReJuve Lounge, located on the south side of Eau Claire at 2857 Mall Drive, I was welcomed by a chic, calming atmosphere and modern furnishings, tall ceilings and two smiling faces: Rachelle and Joni. Through a tour of the space, the duo walked me through ReJuve’s variety of services: red light and lymphatic therapies, fitness-focused machines unlike any I’d seen before, a salt therapy booth, facials and aesthetic treatments, and more.
“You’re just not living your best life if you feel like crap every day,” Joni said. “Our goal is that when people come here, they don’t only end up feeling better mentally – although, who doesn’t want that? – but are becoming better oriented with themselves and find ways to actually feel better physically.”

In only three months, the business has seen an even wider range of customers than Rachelle and Joni had hoped for: young adults and athletes, middle-aged adults on the go with work and families, and seniors. Some have raved about the atmosphere alone – melodic and modern music plays quietly, warm lighting fills the space, and robes and water are provided during any services – while others found themselves having better sleep, respiratory improvements, mental and physical stress relief, and more.
ReJuve’s most popular offering so far is the Cocoon Fitness Pod. I was intimidated by it at first (I’ve seen too many sci-fi movies), but it was similar to a sauna in that it is heat-controlled and offers relief by way of sweating it out. In a 30-minute session, impurities can be sweated out, inflammation is decreased, and a range of calories are burned.

Both Rachelle and Joni have extensive knowledge on each service, and both pointed to the Star Lymphactive Therapy as a favorite. “This machine has a variety of services and can reduce inflammation, expel toxins, expedite athletic recovery, enhance circulation, and reduce the appearance of cellulite,” Rachelle explained. “It almost feels like the arm cuff you wear to get your blood pressure checked, but this has the ability to cover your entire lower body and arms – it’s more high tech, with different programming options.”
A vibration plate machine is in the same room as the lymphatic equipment is, and it’s exactly what it sounds like. By standing on vibrating plates – the speed of which can be customized with different levels – and using different positions or exercises, a major result of regular use is an improvement in balance.
The red light therapy bed looks like a tanning bed, though its purpose is to support muscle recovery and ease skin conditions. That is accomplished by the dual-sided lighting inside: medical-grade and collagen bulbs result in the “red light,” offered in 15-minute sessions.
The most complex piece of equipment is the Star Cryo T-Shock Therapy, which Rachelle and Joni are both certified to offer. It has numerous uses, ranging from facials and anti-aging treatments to toning and cellulite treatments, utilizing both hot and cold temperature settings.

“Everything here has a purpose, and everything can help reduce inflammation,” Joni said. “With holistic health, we aren’t looking to put Band-Aids over problems but treat the cause of different symptoms.
“We’re not here to act like salesmen. We are already so passionate about holistic health, to learn about and talk to others about the benefits and what we’re offering, it’s not just a job.”
“After you come here, you should leave feeling rejuvenated,” Rachelle added.
The dynamic-duo co-owners offer tours to those interested in seeing the space in person, and an introductory service to try out their services before committing further: the Lounge Flight. For $100, the Lounge Flight includes five services of your choice. Beyond that, different membership plans are offered for seniors, students, and individuals, and in the future, a family membership will be available.
