“Shaking Things Up” cover by Ma Vue • Creating the Best of the Holidays issue covers has become a festive tradition of sorts for us at Volume One. For this year’s issue, graphic designer Allison Buchli proposed a snow globe concept with a local twist. After deciding on Paul Bunyan and Babe searching for the perfect Christmas tree as our iconic topper, Video & Photo Director Ma Vue went to work, sculpting and painting the snow globe by hand. Two pounds of polymer clay and a sprinkling of glitter later, we proudly present this year’s enchanting Best of the Holidays issue! We hope this cover brings you as much holiday cheer as it brought us while creating it!
