The Boys and Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley announced Maddie Fuller as the new center director of the Lee & Mary Markquart Center (1005 Oxford Ave., Eau Claire), serving area youth in second-12th grades, on June 14.

Formerly serving as career and workforce development coordinator at the club, Fuller’s depth of experience with the organization, its programs, and its members continues to support the success of young people. Prior to coming to the Boys and Girls Club, Fuller worked on youth and family engagement and reintegration efforts at Lutheran Social Services as well as at a YMCA summer camp.

“(Fuller) wants to cultivate an inclusive environment supportive of member growth,” a recent media release said.

The area’s Boys and Girls Club serves Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Menomonie, Black River Falls, and Altoona, with a recent expansion and renovations in 2022 widening its reach. The Eau Claire location, the Lee & Mary Markquart Center, welcomes youths ages 7-18 years old to participate in its after-school programs, special events, and meals, included in an annual membership ($15/person or $30/family).
