The Women’s Giving Circle, a fund of the Eau Claire Community Foundation, is now accepting applications for grants of up to $7,000 to area nonprofits that work to enhance the well-being of local women and/or children. The application deadline is Monday, June 3.

WGC has distributed more than $492,000 in grants since its establishment in 2007, including more than $40,000 in grants in 2023. Some of last year’s recipients include the Altoona Boys & Girls Club for enhancements to its Zen Den, a space for club youths to manage their emotions; the Eau Claire Area Hmong Mutual Assistance Association for a three-day youths and elders outdoor retreat; and the Chippewa Valley Museum to renovate its “Tall Tales” children’s exhibit, among others.

Any nonprofits interested in applying can do so by visiting the “Women’s Giving Circle” page under the “Lasting Impact” tab on the Eau Claire Community Foundation website, eccfwi.org.
