Brian Bethke to Release Remastered Vinyl LP of ‘I’ll Be Ok’ with Three Bonus Tracks
Bethke to play LP release show at The Plus on March 23
You likely know about Brian Bethke’s EP release of I’ll Be OK in 2022 (Volume One reported on it in December of that year). Now, Bethke is releasing a new remastered version of I’ll Be OK, which includes three new tracks. The best part? Bethke is releasing the album on vinyl, CD, and car aux USB drives while supplies last, allowing you to enjoy the whole thing in every physical form.
“I'm kind of an analog guy,” Bethke said. “I like the idea of physical albums where you have something that’s kind of an art piece in itself.”
Bethke’s smooth voice is the focal point of the acoustic-leaning “Topaz Eyes” and “Breathing Underwater,” while “Feel It” showcases his classic folk-rock sound, while the lyrics touch on karma and his health journey.
Bethke is taking pre-orders now for the record on his website, and copies will be on sale locally at Revival Records and The Local Store. Bethke will also have some available for purchase at his release party at The Plus (208 S. Barstow St., Eau Claire) from 7-10pm on Saturday, March 23. Due to a chronic illness, Bethke doesn’t perform live often, so this is a great chance to be able to hear him in person. The album will be released on all streaming platforms on March 3.
