TO THE FUTURE. The first-ever Trails Gala event aims to bring local outdoor lovers of all kinds together, fundraising for several local recreation and youth organizations.

A first-time and first-of-its-kind event, the Trails Gala, will be a collaborative effort among nine local outdoor and youth organizations with 100% of the event’s proceeds split among them.

The Trails Gala will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 5-9pm at The Pablo Center’s Jamf Theatre (128 Graham Ave., Eau Claire), and promises an evening of forward-thinking vision and shared community investment into local recreation groups. For folks passionate about the beautiful outdoors and all the activities that are enjoyed – biking, skiing, trail running, hiking, snowshoeing, and more – the Trails Gala is the all-in-one space to create connections and contribute to the community.

Co-presented by Volume One and Compass Bike Lab, the Trails Gala will benefit CORBA, the Eau Claire Ski Striders, Pinehurst Park, Friends of Hickory Ridge, Eau Claire Youth Cycling, Bike Chippewa Valley, Chippewa Valley Nordic, and the 906 Adventure Team.

The fundraising event will offer a woods-inspired cocktail party with excellent food and drinks and music, the opportunity to mingle and hear from outdoor leaders and keynote speakers who will offer the inside scoop on community projects, and a chance to bid on exciting live and silent auction items or participate in the heads-or-tails raffle.

Throughout the evening, “Vision Talks” will be held in three portions: the Trails Block featuring CORBA, Pinehurst Park/OutdoorMore Inc., Ski Striders, and Friends of Hickory Ridge; the Civic Block featuring Eau Claire County, the City of Eau Claire, and Bike Chippewa Valley; and the Youth Block featuring Chippewa Valley Nordic, Eau Claire Youth Cycling, and the 906 Adventure Team.

The Keynote will be held at 8pm with the director of the Wisconsin Office of Outdoor Recreation, Mary Monroe Brown, set to speak.

Tickets to the first-ever Trails Gala are $65 for an individual advance ticket or $350 for an upper balcony table for four, plus fees. Full proceeds will go toward the participating nonprofit organizations.

The Trails Gala is still accepting auction items and sponsorships from individuals, families, and organizations and businesses at various levels. Tiers begin at $100 and go up to $3,500-plus.
