Grammy winner and renowned feminist icon Ani DiFranco is set to hit the RCU Theatre’s stage at the Pablo Center this fall on Sept. 12. Accompanied by a surprise guest, fans of DiFranco’s music will surely be most entertained with her performance for Eau Claire.

DiFranco is known for creating her own record label, Righteous Babe Records, in 1990, making her one of the first artists to do so. As for what people can expect from her music, you might be pleased with the different sounds she comes up with. From punk, funk, and hip hop to jazz, soul, and electronica, the “Little Folksinger” doesn’t shy away from any type of sound to create her albums.

DiFranco has shared the stage with a number of well-known artists, some of the biggest being Bob Dylan, Prince, and Bruce Springsteen, as well as our personal favorite here in Eau Claire, Bon Iver! The wide range of artists she’s aligned herself with are proof of how all-encompassing her personal genre of music is.

Tickets have gone on sale already, but there’s still time to secure your spot! You won’t want to miss this one-time performance at the Pablo; Ani DiFranco is a feminist icon you’ll definitely want to see for yourself.
