ROCK THE RESET. Already drop off on your new year resolutions, or just want to kickstart some positive habits? The YMCA has your back with the RESET Challenge.
ROCK THE RESET. Already drop off on your new year resolutions, or just want to kickstart some positive habits? The YMCA has your back, kickin' February off with the RESET Challenge.

Kicking off on Feb. 13, the YMCA of the Chippewa Valley is offering up the opportunity for locals to participate in the national RESET Challenge. The 21-day initiative challenges participants to choose one healthy habit to work on while partaking in group workouts, games, meditations, talks on food and recipes, and more.

By choosing to focus on one healthy habit to work on and form during the challenge, participants will also have access to a website chockfull of podcasts and video messages to help them along while also completing the RESET Bingo Boards.

“The RESET Challenge is an opportunity for the YMCA to reach beyond its walls and help motivate the entire Chippewa Valley to become stronger in mind, body, and spirit,” said Dixie Morales, association marketing director for the Chippewa Valley YMCA.

The challenge can be done at the YMCA or completely from home, and non-members are encouraged to join the YMCA for 50% off during the rest of February with a further 50% off offered for March. All challengers will gain unlimited access to YMCA360, an online platform with hundreds of on-demand videos like workouts, crafts, and more, to use during the challenge.

“This challenge can be done by the experienced exerciser or someone who is brand-new to making health and wellness a priority,” Morales explained. “People who set goals and who join an accountability group are more likely to stick with them. We hope that after this 21-day challenge, participants will be able to continue with that healthy habit.”

So, how do you sign up to participate? Just one simple text message: Text RESET to 844-6222, or visit ymca-cv.org/reset if that’s easier.

A photo ID will be required to use a guest pass at the YMCA, and non-member minors must be accompanied by someone 16+ years old. Visit ymca-cv.org for facility hours, schedules, and more information.
