NOTHING BUT GOOD VIBES: Eau Juicy to Host Concert Featuring Justin and Ted Park
Los Angeles-based Korean hip hop stars will be joined by local artists Vicky Yang and Naalia, among others
It’s about to be nothing but good vibes at an Eau Claire venue next month.
Eau Juicy, a restaurant and music venue in Eau Claire, is set to host a concert dubbed “Good Vibes,” on Saturday, May 14. The event will feature Los Angles-based Korean hip hop artists Justin Park, best known for his tracks “On the Low,” and “Mi Vida,” and Ted Park, known for his songs “U & Me,” and “Dance Like Jay Park.” Rounding out the rest of the lineup will be Chenning Xiong, Supryze, Kid Swami, David Yang, Sons of Notown, and local artists Vicky Yang and Naalia.
Owner of Eau Juicy, Xavier Yang said putting on concerts such as “Good Vibes,” is important to the venue because it helps highlight a segment of the local music community that isn’t featured as prominently as others. The venue has been putting on two-to-three local shows a month and hopes this trend can continue as the Chippewa Valley becomes more aware of the venue and the talent they bring in.
“I want to help bring local shows back to this area, but I also want to show how diverse of a community Eau Claire is as well,” Yang said. “We have very talented artists here coming from many different backgrounds, and I don’t think they all have a platform to help get their names out there. Doing these shows is just one way to help them get their music heard, and I hope we can continue to do that to better our community.”
