The annual Breakfast in the Valley event – featuring fresh-made breakfast foods, agricultural and business displays, a milk-drinking contest, tractor displays, and awards – is twisting traditions this year with Breakfast in the Valley boxes available for preorder.

This annual event, which celebrates the importance of agriculture in the Chippewa Valley’s economy, was cancelled in 2020 as a result of the pandemic. This year, it will celebrate June Dairy Month through boxes filled with goodies such as cheese curds, block cheese, coffee, a Culver’s custard coupon, Silver Springs horseradish, milk, butter, a traditional Breakfast in the Valley coffee mug – courtesy of Eau Claire Energy Cooperative – as well as several other delicious food items and deals. All products are donated or purchased from local farms, creameries, and businesses.

Boxes will be available for pickup on Friday, June 11 in a drive-thru format at the Eau Claire County Expo Center (5530 Fairview Dr., Eau Claire).

A medium box is available for $15 or a large product box for $25. You can preorder your boxes here through June 9. Get your box soon, as quantities are limited!

You can also order a box by calling the Eau Claire Chamber’s office at 715-834-1204.
