Finding the energy to work out can sometimes feel insurmountable. But two Chippewa Vallians are absolutely blazing the fitness trails with their new Menomonie franchise, FIRE Fitness.

Andrea Jewett and Beth Westlund, childhood pals, were members of the FIRE Fitness camp teams in Weston and Marshfield. ”We just loved it so much that we decided to start it on our own,” Westlund said.

Everyone's fitness journey is different.

Co-Owner, Fire Fitness

This fitness camp is intended for any age, any body, at any time. They offer kegs, tires, ropes, dumbbells, plates, and body weights. “There’s nothing like this in our area,” she said. “It’s pretty new. … People are curious.”

This franchise business, which is headquartered in Plover, Wisconsin, offers professionally coached and motivated sessions. “It delivers really remarkable results,” Westlund said. “It has the most documented transformations in the country.” That includes weight loss, muscle growth, or just improving strength.

“Everyone’s fitness journey is different,” she said. “Individuals can go at their own pace; they can go as intensive as they want to.”

FIRE Fitness in Menomonie has offered 30-minute bootcamps five times a day since opening on March 1. “It is like a little family,” Westlund said. “It could be your second day here, and it feels like you know everybody.”
