We’ve all had technical glitches, and the YMCA of the Chippewa Valley wonders: What happens when you glitch? They answer that question in their six-week Reset Challenge.

The challenge encourages local families to get 150 minutes of exercise every week for six weeks to get them out of their unhealthy and “glitchy” patterns. The first week focuses on turning your power switch off and on again. The second week is to “Refresh” – working to find healthier substitutes for fast-food runs. The following four weeks include various challenges that push members to hit that 150-minute mark.

The challenge is open to members and nonmembers alike, although YMCA members or those who pay a $20 fee for the challenge will be able to access a wider range of on-demand and live fitness classes, Zoom meetings with a personal trainer, and unlimited access to YMCA branches during March 1-13. Check out www.ymca-cv.org/reset for more information on how to take part.
