WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU MIX FIVE LOCAL ENTREPRENEURS and a new business venture? Harmony – at least, according to Brenda Mueller, a skin specialist at Harmony Wellness, a new salon and spa in Eau Claire. “That’s exactly how all of us work is truly in harmony,” she said.

These local women planned to open their business on June 1 after purchasing the building around March, but after waiting for a delayed permit because of the pandemic, they officially opened their doors June 19.

Harmony Wellness, 2115 E. Clairemont Ave., offers massages, facials and chemical peels, permanent cosmetics, electrolysis hair removal, microneedling, waxing, teeth whitening, tattoo removal, spray tanning, lash lifting, lash and brow tinting, and more.

“We lift each other up every day,” said co-owner Melissa Bowe. Face masks are required unless otherwise necessary. “We really want to take care of our clients,” Mueller said.
