Halloween Queens: Scooters' Halloween Drag Show to Be Holiday Treat
Looking to show off this year’s fabulous Halloween costume you’ve been planning since last Halloween? But, you’re bored with the whole trick-or-treating thing or going to the same old bars? Well, the Queens of the Valley have a spooktacular performance in store for you! The Annual Halloween Drag Show will be gracing the Scooters stage on October 28. The Eau Claire Drag community has been around for almost thirty years. They raise money for many organizations including the Eau Claire County Humane Society, Bolton Refuge House, Chippewa Valley Theater Guild, Chippewa Valley Pride, and more. These ladies are a huge part of the community. This year’s show is sure to bring something different to the stage; however, you’ll have to attend to find out. “I’d love to tell you what we have planned, but those are closely guarded secrets,” Queen Ophelia Junque said. “We like the element of surprise, and to keep people guessing.” The event will have a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees, and newbies to the world of drag are encouraged to come check it out. Jem Stone, Khloe Wold, Felicia Ashton, Ophelia Junque, Amber Hudson, Siren, Sophie Nyland, Taylor Ashton, and Dominique Degrant will perform along with host, Ionia Junque. Get to Scooters by 10:30pm with $5 for the cover, and make sure you’re 21 years or older. Bring a few extra bucks for the performers and don’t miss this treat of a show!
