Festival Prep Done Right
local shop hosts Back Alley Pop.Up for festivalgoers
The Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival is almost upon us and if only there was one magical location where one could get their face painted, pick up a lace crop top, grab a lemonade, and get a temporary tattoo… Oh wait! There is! Becca Cooke, owner of Red’s Mercantile is hosting a precursor to the festival with exclusive back alley pop up shops from area favorites including Prairie La Crosse Vintage (festival ready-to-wear sundresses, crop tops, denim, tees, and menswear), Low Roads (leather backpacks, handbags, and more), Merfolk Floral (flower crowns), and Eau Claire’s own Linyage (lace crop tops). Come get your hair chalked up and make a festival survivor kit. The event will start on Thursday Aug. 11 and continue on through Saturday August 13th with each day holding another goodie, magic or surprise so be sure to stop by each day. The shops open 11am to 7pm Thursday and 9am to 4pm on Friday and Saturday. The occasion also includes pop up yoga as well free coffee from Soul Brewed Coffee. As if this wasn’t enough to get you excited, Red’s will also be offering blissTonic intuitive readings and energy healing all day Thursday and mornings on Friday and Saturday. Get your groove on before getting your groove on, you know?
