As if you needed another reason to roll your windows down and cruise this summer, Eau Claire’s Country Jam music festival barely a week away! For its 27th anniversary, Jam has headliners Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Jake Owen, The Band Perry, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell, and Eli Young Band ready to hit the stage for the three-day long country bash at Foster Farm. Conveniently located at the same ground where the Eaux Claire’s festival is held, the site overlooks the gorgeous Chippewa River and is a short drive away from many local pubs and restaurants for out-of-town campers who don’t wish to subsist on food truck grub all weekend (though I don’t know why you wouldn’t want to). If you’re still looking to reserve a campsite, head online to save a space at Whispering Pines. Move-in for campers begins at 7am on Wednesday, July 20. Don’t fret, you can still properly experience Jam the way a true Midwesterner would even if camping isn’t your thing. You simply need to don your cowboy hat and boots (OK, this is optional but recommended), indulge in some brews at the various beer tents on site, and get a rowdy group of friends to attend with you. Be sure to grab your tickets for this year’s event ASAP before prices go up on July 14! (P.S.: You’re in luck if you’re a student, because you can snag your tickets at a discounted price with your student ID.)
