Wildwood Film Festival Taps Local Filmmakers

Thom Fountain |

Getting accepted into a film festival is a high honor for any filmmaker. Why do you think they put all those badges on the front of DVD cases? Now two local films can slap one of those badges on – one that says Official Selection for the 2013 Wildwood Film Festival. The Wildwood Film Festival is a one-day event that takes place in Appleton each winter. Among the 39 films featured are Catalyst – a short film by the semi-local film group Whiskey Neat Productions – and The Crow – a music video for former local Jessica Norman’s music and theater project Voodoo’s Dream. The festival runs all day March 16, and both local films will air at 8pm at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
