Avalon Floral presents a celebration of local artists and flower bouquets in an innovative multimedia art reception-style event. The 3rd Annual Colorfall Art Show, taking place Aug. 9 from 5-8pm at Avalon Floral (430 Water St., Eau Claire) will host one artwork from 20 local artists specializing in pottery, painting, ceramics, and jewelry. Avalon designers Barb Dresel and Rachel Myers then create a flower arrangement inspired by the artist’s work, whether by color scheme, textures, or other artistic principles, presenting both works side-by-side. The artists include potter David Caradori and painters Terry Meyer, Jo Burke, Almira Downs, and Barb & Andy Schafer, just to name a few.
