Need a break from same old tire swing, kiddos? Had enough of the Gameboy Advance? Tell your parents to head over to Eau Claire YMCA’s Kid’s
Gym for a break from the playtime monotony.

    The gymnasium off Business 53 has everything sugar-rushed tikes could want and need. You have the rope swing, the basketball hoop, the climbing wall, the balance beam, and even, for the adventurous child, a Space Maze.

Even better, members can utilize babysitting for a small fee. Non-member tikes must have parent accompaniment at all times, but the adults are welcome to act like the kids and play along.

Members and non-members can use the gym year-round, but it can be especially useful for birthday parties. With a YMCA birthday, you also get access to the rest of the facilities, including the Youth Fitness Center, the pool, and, of course, your very own party room.

Most of these facilities are offered at no cost to members, and a nominal fee to non-members. Birthdays in the Kid’s Gym are $85 for members and $115 for non-members for an hour-long party. For more information, contact Terri Hawkinson at 836-8460, ext. 138.
