Elk Mound Artist’s Works on Display at Library
A selection of ceramic vessels, drawings, and mixed-media sculptures by artist Rhonda Willers is on display at L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library through Feb. 24. These thought-provoking pieces articulate the “spiritual and non-material value” of our daily lives by echoing common natural forms and, simultaneously, by evoking tenuous ties to our own landscape of memory. Willers is a studio artist who resides in Elk Mound, maintains a studio at Banbury Place, and is a faculty member at UW-River Falls and UW-Stout.
