Flyway Film Festival Returns
The Flyway Film Festival is back this year. It will take place Oct. 17-20 in the western Wisconsin burgs of Pepin and Stockholm. This annual festival features more than 50 film, filmmakers, panels for discussions, workshops for aspiring and devoted filmmakers, and plenty of food and live music. The festival’s opening film is The Rocket, a drama about a Laotian child whose entire family thinks he is bad luck, and Citizen Koch, a film about the big money in Wisconsin politics. Other films include dramas, comedies, documentaries, two 2013 Academy Award submissions and of course, a star-studded vampire film. Tickets and panel registration are available on the festival’s website or on the day of the event. Find a full schedule and more info at FlywayFilmFestival.org.
