Local writer Samantha Kobs never thought she’d download a dating app. After joining slews of millennials online, she started swiping left on cookie-cutter Midwestern dudes slammin’ brewskis in their bro tanks or showing off their big catch at the cabin and almost had enough until one stranger caught her eye – a relative stranger who would make a world of difference, illustrating that sometimes the people we don’t know make life the most magical of all.
