Menomonie Market Food Co-Op Goes Virtual
Since the coronavirus pandemic first started, people’s shopping habits have changed significantly, according to Kendall Williams, marketing manager at the Menomonie Market Food Co-Op. That’s why, in addition to offering curbside pickup, the co-op moved its entire inventory online with a new e-commerce website, which launched in June. Now customers can browse all of the MMFC’s products from the comfort of home. Folks can refine search items by department or category – such as organic or gluten-free options. There’s even a search option to look for products from local vendors only. There are perks available for owners, including the ability to link to an in-store account, take a peek at past orders, shopping list capabilities, a virtual wallet, and a declining balance. You can check it out at shop.mmfc.coop.
