Each year, Trick-or-Treating festivities bring families and friends to the North and South Barstow streets of downtown Eau Claire . On Saturday, Oct. 31, kiddos (and the rest of the family, too) were invited to dress up in costumes and stroll from business to business as downtown staffers handed out treats along the route.

Coordinated by Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. (DECI) attendees were also encouraged to enter its costume contest by snapping a photo of an individual or group outfit and tagging DECI on social media (@DowntownEauClaire).

This year, over a dozen businesses participated in the trick-or-treating effort. Those included Thai Orchid and Chao Eatery; retailers Hello Adorn, Tangled Up In Hue, That's Adorable; hospitality venues like The Oxbow Hotel, among others.
