The 22nd annual Chippewa Falls Oktoberfest made its return Sept. 19-20 at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds. This year's schedule was chockfull of family-friendly events, new activities, and some returning favorites including the Stein Holding contest, carnival games and rides, beer and grub vendors, and of course, several glockenspiel performances. 

Leinie Lodge (124 E. Elm St., Chippewa Falls) kicked off this year's festivities, hosting the Golden Keg Ceremony event, Festmeister and Festmeisterin announcement (cheers to Charles "Buddy" and Jaynee Brannen!), and seeing the Oktoberfest procession off to the fairgrounds.
