The 16th annual Bruise-A-Thon – the Chippewa Valley Roller Derby's season kick-off event and mixer – smashed back onto the scene last Saturday, Sept. 6, over at Hobbs Ice Arena (915 Menomonie St., Eau Claire). Dynamic skaters from across the Midwest hit the rink for the Chippewa Valley Roller Derby's season opener, which also featured tattoo raffles, concessions and adult bevs, a half-time drag show, and an afterparty at The 410 Bar in downtown Eau Claire.
