June has brought lots of rain and plenty of high temperatures, peaking this past weekend, June 20-21 – the same dates of Summer Jam music festival. Held at the Eau Claire Event District grounds, 90-degree heat couldn't keep fest-goers from Summer Jam's debut year.
Organized by the same team behind Country Jam USA – a longtime, large music festival also held in the Chippewa Valley, returning July 17-19 – the new multi-genre festival featured headliners Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Black Crowes alongside additional well-known artists like Everclear, Rick Springfield, and more.
Held at the Eau Claire Event District (5775 20th Ave., Eau Claire), Summer Jam is not curated around any one or two genres. After announcing the brand-new festival in 2024, organizers said it would aim to embody "the ultimate summer playlist," simply delivering summertime vibes.
