Hosted by local organization Power Up Eau Claire, the greater Chippewa Valley was invited to the HMoob Day Celebration on Saturday, May 17, at Phoenix Park in downtown Eau Claire.

The free-to-attend, all-ages event celebrated Hmong heritage, culture, and history – HMoob Day Celebration is part of the continued recognition and celebration of the 50th anniversary of Hmong diaspora in the U.S. – filling the farmers market pavilion area with entertainment from 5-9pm. 

A number of local organizations and businesses vended at the event, including the Eau Claire Area Hmong Mutual Assistance Association, Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce, SahLan Nails & Spa, Mayo Clinic Health System, and more. On-site eats included Eat O'Clock, Egg Roll Express, Muang Thai, and others, with arts and additional vendors also near the pavilion.
