A decade of Blue Ox was celebrated in its local stomping grounds, Eau Claire’s Pines Music Park, this past weekend from June 27-29, welcoming thousands to camp out, hang up their hammocks, and get down in the woods with Americana and bluegrass magic in the air. Its milestone-worthy lineup – which made for a sold-out festival – included heavy hitters Sierra Ferrell, Band of Horses, Sam Bush Band, Molly Tuttle and her band Golden Highway, and local favorites Them Coulee Boys and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, among many others. The three-day festival also brought Pert Near Sandstone for not one but two nights, as host of the decade-marker event.
Oh, and don't forget to check back in with us in a couple of days for our video coverage of the milestone year featuring interviews with artists across each day of Blue Ox!
