For the first time ever, the Eau Claire HmongFest was hosted by the Eau Claire Area Hmong Mutual Assistance Association (ECAHMAA) to celebrate Hmong culture. The event was held this past weekend (June 17-18) at the Eau Claire Soccer Park. There were traditional Hmong foods as well as fun weekend-long activities including two dance competitions, a singing competition, and a plethora of different sports competitions.

The HmongFest Night Festival, held on Saturday night, was an electric time for folks who witnessed performances by several popular Hmong artists including Ka Lia Universe, Supryze, Hmisfit, Pong Vang, Gy Yang, Chin Chilla, Jack GV, and Michelle Elle, with music by Kuelio Ice Cold.
