The Mabel Tainter threw a soiree for St. Patrick's Day this past Friday, March 17, from 7:30-10pm. The St. Patty’s Day Bash featured the Shillelagh Lads, who have three albums and performances at the Iowa Irish Fest, Eau Claire Jazz Fest, Volume One's Sounds Like Summer Concert Series, the La Crosse Irish Fest, and more across the region. Also on the bill was Chippewa Valley Irish Dance, a Menomonie-based organization that teaches and performs traditional Irish dance in the Chippewa Valley.
