Having shared the stage with talents likes Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Iver, and more, Grammy-winning living legend Ani Difranco filled the Pablo Center at the Confluence with her electric presence and breath-stopping sound on Wednesday, Oct. 12. Rising musician and pronounced talent Abraham Alexander opened for Difranco at 7:30pm, the two sharing the stage as well.
Difranco is widely recognized for her activism, particularly among the feminist movements, and is known for her incredible mark in the musical world as one of the first artists to create her own record label, in 1990. Musicians like Prince and Bon Iver have cited Difranco as an inspiration to release their music outside of the major label system.
