The U.S. Open Chainsaw Sculpture Championship returned to Carson Park in Eau Claire for the first time since 2019. From Aug. 11-14, the Wisconsin Logging Museum hosted the best chainsaw carvers from around the world who used their chainsaws (and maybe a handful of other tools) to fashion works of art out of 8-foot logs. At the end of the weekend, awards are given and pieces are auctioned off.
