[PHOTOS] 14th Annual Blues on the Chippewa

the blues fest returned to help folks get their groove on, and for a good reason

Shimmying on through the Valley this past weekend, the annual Blues on the Chippewa lit up Durand's Memorial Park with good vibes for an even better cause. The three-day benefit blues fest is completely free for folks to attend, though free-will donations are accepted and appreciated, like non-perishable food for the Durand Food Pantry.

Both on the big stage and weaved throughout Durand in spots like the Corral Bar and Riverside Grill and Roostertail Bar & Grill, bluesy music from the likes of critically acclaimed Malina Moye (uber-popular blues star and left-handed guitarist from Minneapolis) and Pokey LaFarge (who appeared on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series), filled the air from Thursday, Aug. 4 through Saturday, Aug. 6.
