HUZZAH! ’Twas the opening weekend of the Chippewa Valleys new Renaissance fair

The Chippewa Valley has been without a Renaissance faire for nearly a decade (the sorrow!), but that has changed this summer with the establishment of the Newbourne Village Renaissance Festival outside Chippewa Falls (huzzah!). The festival held its opening weekend June 11-12 on the Eagle Ridge Festival Grounds 2302 Nelson Road, Chippewa Falls. The fantasy-flavored fun will continue 10am-6pm each Saturday and Sunday through July 3 (rain or shine). Learn more at newbournevillage.com.
