[PHOTOS] Runners Pound Wet Pavement in E.C. Marathon

The Eau Claire Marathon returned to its traditional spring schedule this year, and that meant some wet, chilly late spring weather for racers Sunday, April 30. The 26.2-mile race began at 7am Sunday at Phoenix Park, following a route that wound its way around the city before ending on nearby Graham Avenue. The winner among the 432 finishers was 22-year-old Hayden Fredrickson, who finished in 2:31:42. Hundreds of runners also took part in the marathon relay, in a half marathon, and in 10K, 5K, and other events. Learn more about the race at eauclairemarathon.com.
