The Sixth Annual MidWest WeirdFest – which describes itself as “a cinematic celebration of all things fantastic, frightening, underground, off-beat, alternative, and just plain weird” – was held March 4-6, 2022, at Micon Downtown Cinema in Eau Claire. The festival lineup included 20 short and feature-length films (including the locally produced gIVE) and the chance to hear from and mingle with some of the filmmakers and performers who made all the weirdness possible.
