[PHOTOS] Eau Claire Remembers George Floyd With ‘Protest for Peace’

The Protest For Peace/Pick Up the Earth rally drew more than 2,000 people to downtown Eau Claire Friday evening, June 5. Prompted by the recent killing of George Floyd – for which four former Minneapolis police officers have been charged – the gathered addressed issues of racial disparity and discrimination. Speakers included Dr. Selika Ducksworth-Lawton, Justin Vernon, Brittany Tainter, Jaylin Carlson, and Daminiqus Ford. Following speeches in Phoenix Park, participants marched through downtown Eau Claire.
