Volume One brought True North: Real Wisconsin stories unfolding live on stage to the Jamf Theater in the Pablo Center at the Confluence on Friday and Saturday night, November 16 and 17. The unique show, which blends live storytelling, original live music, a wide variety of multimedia produced by local artists (not to mention actors and dancers) is Volume One's first-ever stage production.

Experiencing a different blend of visuals and music with each story, the audience heard original pieces from Ward Rubrecht, Yia Lor, Tom Giffey, Jodie Arnold, Steve Betchkal, Brooke Jee-in Newmaster, Nickolas Butler, and Kobi Shaw – with additional musical installments from Josh Ingersoll. An after party following the show was held right on stage.

Produced by the editors of Volume One, True North was directed by Jake Lindgren, with original music from Sean Carey and the Bookhouse Boys, lighting design by Tyler Edmondson, stage management by Sarah Hammes-Murray, and video direction by Joel Pearish.
