Water Street Bridge Ribbon Cutting

On Thursday, September 1, the City of Eau Claire held a ribbon cutting ceremony of officially open the the Water Street Bridge, now open for traffic (and slightly ahead of schedule). The event included live music from UW-Eau Claire's marching band, speeches, root beer floats, and a ceremonial first crossing by the City of Eau Claire Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Commission.
The celebration is a collaboration presented by Downtown Eau Claire Inc, the Water Street Business Improvement District, the Historic Randall Park Neighborhood Association, the Third Ward Neighborhood Association, and UW-Eau Claire.
