Fall Harvest Party at the Chippewa Valley Montessori Charter School

On Wednesday, September 23, the Chippewa Valley Montessori Charter School in Eau Claire held its "Fall Harvest Party." Using vegetables grown in the school's student-worked gardens, groups of classmates were able to plan and assemble their own pizzas and salads. The pizzas were then wood-fired by the Foster Cheese Haus in their modified pizza-cooking firetruck. Like the school gardens, the Fall Harvest Party was planned and run by parents at the school.
