It’s never too early to begin planning a summer of family fun, especially with the prospect of COVID-19 restrictions loosening. With that in mind, mark your calendar for the annual Ashley for the Arts festival in Arcadia on Aug. 12-14. While the whole lineup hasn’t yet been revealed, some of the main acts have been announced. Expect top-notch performances by Jefferson Starship, Foreigner, Kip Moore, and Toby Keith on Friday, Aug. 13, followed by Clare Dunn, Switchfoot, Barenaked Ladies, and Little Big Town on Saturday, Aug. 14. If that variety of music sounds attractive, you can purchase tickets online now for only $20 for the whole weekend.

You can also expect a wide range of activities for the kiddos: While pandemic restrictions may be in place, in the past Ashley for the Arts has featured circus acts, a petting zoo, fireworks, hot air balloon launches, inflatables, interactive arts and crafts, and more. Ashley for the Arts is a nonprofit initiative that donates to many schools, children’s charities, and medical research organizations.

This event was established in 2009 and – to this day – is one of Wisconsin’s biggest charity events. In 2019, the festival donated more than $590,000 to about 60 nonprofit groups.
