"COVID-19 Running Club" Shirt Benefits Feed My People Food Bank
family partners with local designers to create and sell shirt for charity
Jeremy Harrison and his family were saddened and frustrated by the cancellation of sports and races due to the “Safer at Home” order. In an effort to combat boredom, keep up physical activity, and create some friendly competition amongst themselves, they formed the “COVID-19 Sucks Running Club.”
What began as hand-made tie-dyed shirts with Sharpie writing has transformed into an idea to take their running club to the greater community and use it to impact change. The Harrison family teamed up with a Jodi Stevens designs, Close Up Apparel, and Blue Ox Running to create a fundraiser to benefit Feed My People Food Bank in Eau Claire, WI.
This humorous shirt is something that beginner and experienced runners alike can get behind, with an added bonus of benefitting a great cause.
