Market & Johnson Launches “Construction Cares” Program to Support Students

Market & Johnson has launched a "Construction Cares" program to provide support to several area communities and the students that are being impacted by COVID-19. Since 1948, Western Wisconsin has provided opportunities for Market & Johnson to grow and develop great projects that serve these communities. In these unprecedented times, the owners of Market & Johnson want to provide leadership and opportunities for the groups most in need.
Market & Johnson's Construction Cares program provides support to several key areas, including relief for the students being impacted by this pandemic, necessary food to area communities, and an emergency relief fund for their vital employees.
Highlights of the program are:
- Providing 150,000 meals to those in need throughout Western Wisconsin
- $15,000 donation to the Eau Claire Community Foundation COVID Response /Relief Program
- $15,000 donation to the La Crosse Community Foundation COVID Response /Relief Program
- $10,000 donation to the St. Croix Valley Foundation COVID Response /Relief Program
- $5,000 donation to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Student Emergency Fund
- $5,000 donation to the Chippewa Valley Technical College Foundation Student Emergency Fund
- Donation of over 1,700 N95 Masks and 200 homemade masks to area hospitals, nursing homes, and first responders
